YOU HAVE TO LIKE THE VIDEO WHEN YOU FIRST SEE IT. (see explanation below)
Youtube has a page of charts and videos in each category that get more likes get a lot more views from the general public. So if Prof's video got 20,000 likes in the first day it would be seen by just about everybody. If it got 5000 likes in the first day it would get seen by everyone who checks the music section.
